This project was set within the Irene Farm Village – a country estate on the outskirts of Pretoria. The client’s brief was for the design of a contemporary 4x bedroom family home. An emphasis was placed on the harmonious, cohesive and easy flow of spaces.
The emergent design was particularly defined by the estate guidelines. A close collaboration with interior design served to guide the formulation of spaces. The selected materiality and typology integrate the home with the country surroundings while achieving a distinctive architectural undertone.
The project was developed through all the stages of compliance up-to council approval.
