An invitation to present a masterplan and design guideline overview for consideration within a competition context provided the backdrop to the initiation of this programme.
On a conceptual scale, the Nexus proposal envisaged a series of hybrid organisational landscape arrangements generated through the creation of integrated topographies.
Extending across an area of 23 100m2, the proposal sought to create a synergetic relationship between topography and geometry, natural and artificial. The proposed scheme included a varied distribution of residential possibilities, accomodation for various cultural, sport and leisure activities. These were modelled as a network of diverse circuits along a gradation of different activity zones.
